24V :
The battery must always be turned off while being handled (by pushing on the red button on the battery). It is possible to take the battery off of the bike by pulling on the silicone strap, remove the battery by pulling it towards you, unscrew the little ring underneath the battery and disconnect the battery from its cable. If the battery is not turned off, when you put it back on the bike you might create an electric arc which could damage the battery.
36V :
The battery must always be turned off while being handled (by pushing on the orange button on the display). The battery is key secured. You can open the battery box if you'd like to take the battery off of the bike. If the battery is not turned off, when you put it back on the bike you might create an electric arc which could damage the battery.
